99% Alumina Ceramic Tube is a high-purity Al₂O₃ ceramic tube used for insulation, protection and support in high-temperature, electrical, chemical and precision equipment. It is commonly selected when metal tubes may oxidize, deform, conduct electricity or corrode during long-term operation. Custom sizes, wall thicknesses and end processing can be made according to drawings or samples.
This tube is mainly made from 99% high-purity alumina ceramic. Compared with common 95% or 96% alumina, 99% alumina offers higher purity, better heat resistance, stronger electrical insulation and more stable chemical performance.
For applications with impact, assembly stress or thermal shock risk, Zirconia Toughened Alumina (ZTA) can also be considered. The final material choice should be based on working temperature, load, installation method and the actual application environment.
99% alumina ceramic tubes are suitable for equipment where heat resistance, insulation, corrosion resistance or gas tightness is required.
Typical applications include:
High-temperature furnace tubes and protection sleeves
Thermocouple protection tubes
Insulating tubes for semiconductor equipment
Ceramic sleeves for high-voltage electrical systems
Chemical and petrochemical equipment
Analytical instruments and laboratory devices
New energy equipment and high-temperature test systems
Precision ceramic tube parts requiring controlled OD, ID, straightness and end-face processing
Made from high-purity Al₂O₃ ceramic
Good stability in high-temperature environments
Excellent electrical insulation performance
High hardness and wear resistance
Strong chemical stability for harsh industrial conditions
Dense ceramic structure with good gas tightness
Stable dimensions under heat and long-term use
Custom OD, ID, length, wall thickness and end structures available
CERAMPRO manufactures custom 99% alumina ceramic tubes for OEM equipment, engineering projects and small-batch production. We can produce standard straight tubes, thin-wall tubes, long ceramic tubes, insulating sleeves, protection tubes and special tube structures based on customer drawings.
For parts with specific requirements on inner diameter, outer diameter, wall thickness, straightness, concentricity or surface finish, we can support precision machining and inspection according to project needs. If the customer is unsure whether to use 99% alumina, 96% alumina or ZTA, we can help evaluate the most suitable material based on the working conditions.

A 99% alumina ceramic tube is a high-purity Al₂O₃ ceramic tube used for insulation, protection, support and corrosion-resistant applications in industrial equipment.
99% alumina has higher purity and generally provides better heat resistance, electrical insulation and chemical stability. It is more suitable for demanding high-temperature, high-voltage and high-purity applications.
Yes. Outer diameter, inner diameter, length, wall thickness, end structure, chamfering, slotting, drilling, grinding and surface requirements can be customized according to drawings or samples.
Yes, thin-wall tubes can be evaluated based on the required size, wall thickness, tolerance and length. Thin-wall ceramic parts need careful control during forming, sintering and machining.
Yes, long ceramic tubes can be produced depending on the diameter, wall thickness, straightness requirement and application. Packaging and transportation should also be considered for long ceramic tubes.
Yes. 99% alumina ceramic tubes are commonly used as furnace tubes, support tubes and protection sleeves. The actual working temperature should be evaluated based on furnace atmosphere, heating rate, cooling rate and installation method.
Yes. 99% alumina ceramic has good high-temperature resistance and electrical insulation, making it suitable for thermocouple and temperature sensor protection.
Yes. Dense alumina ceramic has good gas tightness and can be used in certain vacuum or controlled-atmosphere environments. The final design should be confirmed according to sealing method and working conditions.
ZTA can be considered when the ceramic part may face impact, assembly stress, vibration or thermal shock. It offers better toughness than standard alumina.
