This MCH alumina ceramic heating element is an internal heater for soldering irons, soldering stations and precision rework tools. It uses a co-fired metal heating circuit inside an insulating alumina ceramic body. The compact design delivers fast, steady heat in a small space, helping improve temperature response and reduce the insulation risks found in conventional heater structures.
The heater body is made from 96%–99% alumina ceramic. A tungsten resistance circuit is built into the ceramic layers and co-fired with the body to create an integrated MCH structure. Nickel or silver-plated copper leads can be used, depending on the electrical connection and operating conditions.
